In 2015 I was given a catrike recumbent and in 2016 rode my first century ever with my legs. I now race in endurance events such as The Texas Time Trails 48 hour and Pace Bend Ultra 24 hour.

   Josie Smith - Mountain Biker

Favorite Blend:  Hawaiian Kona

Bio: I work at my husband's bike shop, Decorah Bicycles. My passion is mountain biking, but I do enjoy riding gravel when I get the chance. Because I love to share the joy of mountain biking, I started up Fearless Women of Dirt, a women's mountain with hopes of establishing chapters within the midwest.

I love riding for fun and recreation, tho I will participate in the occasion race. I'll do the Decorah Time Trials, Chequamegon 40, and the PertNear 20. If my schedule allows, I might sneak another event in, but really I'm happy to ride my bike whenever I can!

Aside from entering running events, I donate a large number of hours to volunteering at races.

Bio: I'm a Bike Racing Adrenaline Junkie living in Austin, TX with my husband and dog, but traveling the country racing bikes and chasing adventure 9 months out of the year in our VanDoIt Adventure Van! My primary discipline is the Time Trial, and my current niche is the 12 Hour "Ultra Distance" Time Trial (I'm the 2017 12 Hour TT US National and World Champion!), but I also recently discovered Gravel and am racing a ton of Gravel Grinders this year as well (including DK200, Gravel Nats, Belgian Waffle Ride, SBT Gravel, and more). In addition to Time Trials and Gravel Grinders, I also love a good Road Race, Stage Race, or Crit on occasion.

Heather Simon -  Ultra Runner
Favorite Blend: French Roast Sumatra
Bio: I am a New York native, but currently I live in New Jersey. I work as a veterinarian full time, treating all those cute furry members of your family! I started running later in life, but once I found trail and ultra running I knew I was in love. It felt like what I was supposed to be doing my whole life! I am a woman of extremes, so I’m usually running extremely nasty technical trails, with lots of climbing and races in extreme whether OR pancake flat races. I don’t like the gentle rolling hills (or anything to do with moderation!). I wake up hours before races to relax and have at least 2 cups of coffee.
