The Pitch Black’s process is long and arduous, and must be watched expertly, for the window in which the beans achieve their desired characteristics is very brief. With precision gained only through experience, our roasters culminate the process just at the right moment. The result? An intense coffee with bold flavors arising from its depths.

Beans used for this Italian roast are carefully selected from Latin America and the Pacific, where the varietals are known to be most flavorful and stout. These high-altitude Arabica possess the density and strength required to endure the Italian roast’s high temperature and process length.
