Ethiopian Yirgacheffe

Posted by Christopher Brown on Sep 27th 2015

A Rare African Treat

Ethiopia is home to the best coffees in the world. That should come as no surprise since that is where the Arabica and its first varietals were first cultivated before being stolen and shipped and cultivate again in different points across the globe. Ethiopian coffees are grown in two regions --in the South and in the North.

Northern coffee is described as acidic and more wine-like, stark contrast to the South’s produce, the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, which is floral, fruity, and delightfully sweet. Get a taste of Ethiopia’s pride now at the Christopher Bean Coffee store.
