Hello, decaf means no caffeine as it's a standard widely accepted by the decaf coffee community. On average, an 8-ounce (236-ml) cup of decaf coffee contains up to 7 mg of caffeine, whereas a cup of regular coffee provides 70–140 mg . 7mg should not be enough caffeine to cause you any reaction? But that would need to be a personal thing, as I can't advise you on how you react to tiny amounts of coffee caffeine. Hope this helps.

These are not the majority of our cups. However, what the issue is is not the shape of the cup, it's the material that we apply to the top of the cup. Some of the specialty items get processed in a small k cup filling machine and we have to use this type of cup. This cup uses a different material for the lid and creates a thickness issue so the needle on your coffee brewer hangs up on the top of the cup. It won't damage your brewer or cause any issues, but yes I do know that sometimes these things can be a pain to get out. We typically don't use these cups on a day-to-day basis but on some of the rare specialty or in small production runs we have to use these to fill orders. Like in your case we have to fill them in the smaller system and use these cups. I hope this explanation helps some and I'm glad you enjoyed the coffee. Please keep in mind we are in process of phasing this system out in the coming months.

Hello, The best start Is to use a coffee scoop. You can find them here. A level coffee scoop should hold two tablespoons of coffee, which is approximately 10 grams or 0.36 ounces. So you should use two tablespoons or one coffee scoop of ground coffee for every 6 fluid ounces of water. Add more or less coffee to taste.

This is not an exact science, so for example use this as a guide.

For making 6 cups, we recommend 10 Tablespoons or - 60 grams of coffee. For making 8 cups, we think 14 Tablespoons or - 80 grams of coffee is a good starting point. You may need to use more or less coffee, depending on your preferred coffee strength.-
