The Hawaiian Kona is grown in volcanic soil of the Kona region of Hawaii where the elite growers of this premium coffee respect their age-old ritual of climbing into the hills off of the Mamalahoa Highway and staring into the tall trees on which these special coffee beans grow. With the trees so high and willowy, the harvesters wield hooks to draw the cherries close enough to pick. From there, the beans are sun-dried. Christopher Bean offers only the highest-grade Hawaiian Kona so you can gaze out the window and enjoy a cup of this mild, balanced, fruity roast that will lift you by the lapels with its floral high notes and set you down gently with its enduring sweetness.
