Autumn Blend
Christopher Bean’s Autumn Blend is an enticing combination of three extraordinary coffees from popular coffee-producing regions: Sumatra, Guatemala, and Kenya. Every heartwarming cup delivers a smooth robust flavor that is brightened with citrus, berry, and spices. Full-bodied, fragrant and spicy, this concoction is pure comfort in a cup.
Sumatran coffees are known for their rustic flavor and low acidity. What produces its unique earthy taste is the combination of Indonesia’s humid weather and the less-popular wet hull processing. While the Sumatran coffee is an acquired taste, it is nicely balanced with the brighter Guatemalan coffee and acts as a beautiful base in the Autumn Blend.
Guatemalan coffee is said to be the best among all South American coffees. It has a medium body, floral hints, fruity tones, and a satisfying, clean aftertaste. This provides a nice contrast to the Sumatran coffee and adds aromatic character to the blend.
The final touch to the Autumn Blend is the complex Kenyan coffee. Grown organically in the shade and in high-altitude in Mt. Kenya, it has a sweet, syrupy, fruity, and nutty characteristic that gives this blend all the wonderful flavors you oh-so-love about autumn-inspired fare.
