The French Roast is a long and intense process that only high-grown, hard-bean Arabica can handle. Subjecting the beans to this kind of roasting technique diminishes its acidity but brings out oil and natural sugars resulting to a thick, deeply flavored coffee with the slightest hint of dark caramel.
